INTRODUCING THE ERREA SOUTHWEST TOURNAMENT EXECUTIVE.
G.MICHAEL BRADSHAW. The Tournament Director / Executive member.
A vastly experienced Football Club Executive with strong planning, organising and communication skills, Mike heads up a team of professional staff dedicated to delivering a quality-based and robustly constructed pre-season Tournament here in North Devon. Having spent 9+ seasons working with BIDEFORD AFC and member teams of the Toolstation Western League, he has extensive knowledge of regional/non-league football and the structures of the Devon and Cornwall Leagues. As overall co-ordinator, his guiding hand and presence will be evident at all stages of the competition.
PAUL MORRISON. Devon FA / Executive member.
Based in Newton Abbot and with wide-ranging regional football and administration experience, Paul is the direct link between the Tournament Executive and the DEVON FA whose advice is crucial to all stages of official compliance and rules application. Throughout the preparation and delivery of the Competition, he will be overseeing such important areas as competition rules,match scheduling, assignment of match officials and the rotation of senior members at all stages of the tournament. DEVON FA will also play a prominent part in the official hosting of senior Club representatives attending the tournament.
HEATHER SCHOFIELD. Tournament Secretary / Media Co-ordinator.
Based in North Devon, Heather was the driving force in the organisation and implementation of last years’ event. This year, her primary responsibilities will be those of the pre-tournament scheduling of competition teams, hotels and leisure planning as well as working closely on the training facilities and fixture schedules, in place for the teams. In addition, she will be the first point of contact for media representatives covering the tournament; the updating of and information flow to/from the Tournament web-site, as well as posting competition results and organising press coverage and representation at matches.
ROGER FODEN. ERREA SOUTH WEST / Executive member.
Based in Bristol and an ex-professional footballer, Roger is the vital link between the well-known sportswear company whose name the competition bears and the Executive here in North Devon. With an amazing range of contacts at all levels of the game, Roger acts as the professional adviser to the Executive on a range of issues related to kit provision, dietary requirements and training facilities for the participating clubs.
TERRY SCHOFIELD. SPORTS FORE YOU / Tournament Executive.
Based in North Devon and with established sporting links to semi-pro, non-league clubs and schools, he is the bridge to all of our host clubs and those organisations extending such impressive training facilities to our visitor clubs. Calling on an equally impressive range of business contacts, Terry will ensure that tourists, visitors and competition squads are kept fully aware of sponsorship and marketing opportunities throughout the Tournament. This will include the production of the Official Tournament Programme and the marketing of services and facilities in the Bideford, Barnstaple, Northam and Appledore areas.
